Obviously English isn't your strong suit (I assume you are from China), so I'll make this simple: take Lebron off those teams and they don't even make the playoffs. That's what happened before Lebron and that's what will happen after them. Take Kobe off the Lakers and even in the alleged "tough, tough" West, they will still win 50 games easy. I know this because Gasol already did it with far worse supporting casts.

You sure underestimate the great power of RonRon to destroy a team
    and along comes Odom...

Odom & Ron are both fine players, as is Bynum. The only weakness the Lakers have is at PG. That team is stacked, but this series will be competitive because Boston is also stacked.

No need to get racist here. Only shows you're losing your argument when you're taking shots at the poster instead of the post itself.

The supporting cast Gasol had with Memphis was incredible defensively, this Laker team is not without Kobe and you can't pin point a small sample of 5 games...its too small to come to any kind of conclusion

Just watch the games itself and see how many momentum shifting plays Kobe makes...I bet the boxscore won't indicate that

I agree with DD when saying Ron above 30 years is not the player he once was and not a leader. He feels he must be the leader without Kobe. He is only deferring to Kobe. Can't you see it. He won't back down from Gasol but Gashole is the better player.

I apologize, that was out of line (just a joke towards the Yao fans who come here and then convert to becoming Kobe fans since Yao is always injured). Good arguing with you guys. We are derailing this thread too much.

Odom put up 4 points, 5 rebounds, 5 fouls in first finals game. Yes that is awesome indeed. Ron is a very good role player not all star like you make it out to be. Bynum is not healthy and he's not even 50% of the player he was back in 2007/2008. Since then his body has failed him & he isn't as effective as he once was and we don't know if he ever will be

Odom doesn't always put up big numbers but he is a good player because teams can't match up with him, and that throws off their defense. The Celtics are actually an exception since they have the length to contain him (somewhat). He's still better than anyone Lebron has ever had.

Yeah but we are talking bout kobeless Fakers winning games. I don't see it with Ron Artest on the team. With Ariza yes I see them winning more games.

Just because he poses as a mismatch doesn't translate him into being effective every time. He lacks the aggression and the poise to make plays in critical structures of the game. This is his 3rd consecutive finals appearance and when the Lakers go out on the road just watch him play. He gets easily rattled when a little adversity comes his way and he gets this "Deer in the headlights" look when the crowd is cheering against the team with the pressure on them. Just look at all the road games this year, he hasn't been reliable at all for hte most part

Doesn't matter if Gasol could lead the Lakers to the playoffs without Kobe, do you really think they win the championship without him?

So what Lebron takes crappy teams to the playoffs? Is that going to win him the 'chip? Who cares how many wins you get in the regular season, it's all about the championship.
