Definetly. They really don't look strong. Paul is not a scorer and I think he should look for his shot much more.

Paul is scoring over 20 ppg and shooting over 50% from the field. He also gets to the line over 6 times per game and is shooting 88% from the line. He's even shooting 3s at 38%.

His best tool is his playmaking but I would hardly say he isn't a scorer. It's just that he is such an outstand playmaker that it overshadows his ability to score, which is very good for a PG. The Rockets haven't had a PG scoring that much at that percentage since... have they ever had that? Francis scored a lot but not close to that efficiently. Kenny Smith was efficient but not CP3 efficient.

This is pretty amazing. I mean how the hell can Paul average 20 ppg? I ask you how?

I have watched some Hornets games this season and he doesn't look like 20 ppg scorer. I'd say he is a 15/12 guy

Does anyone know who's in the dunk contest beside D Howard?

I don't even know how to answer that question. He just does.

He doesn't look like a 20 ppg scorer? Well, he is.

You say he is a 15/12 guy? Well he's not. He's a 20/12 guy over the last two seasons.

And he's scoring with great efficiency on top of the 20 ppg.

What a great day of games, gonna be such a good afternoon! Unbelievably dominant performance by the Magic. Scorching hot shooting from Orlando vs. slow small Hornets = 30 point lead. I still don't get why the national media is so in love with New Orleans, their depth is pretty weak. I think they are pretenders. With just Chandler going out of the game due to fouls, Howard dominated.

My vote goes to Joe Alexander. Fernandez has hops but I just can't see him doing anything special in a dunk contest. Physically, he's weak.

I can see Alexander throwing down some thunder. He doesn't get a lot of attention because the Bucks aren't in the spotlight and he doesn't get a lot of minutes yet.

Unless Rudy Gay does something special the Dunk Contest is going to be weak this year. I like Howard but I don't see what he can do to top the superman dunk which he didn't even really dunk.

Yeah, Alexander is VERY athletic. I don't think the other two would be that entertaining in a dunk contest but i get the feeling Fernandez would surprise a few people.

Rudy Gay was a huge disappointment last year. I have a feeling Howard will easily win again.

Hornets have got to be the most over rated team in the NBA this year, getting blow the heck out by the magics right now.

They're playing without Stojakovic. You may so "no big deal, he's old and all he can do is shoot".

Well, when you play with Chris Paul and are getting set up beautifully throughout each game, that is a big deal.

Oh, and Peja is one of the best shooters in the history of the game. That helps, too.

The Hornets not having Peja is roughly like the Magic not having Lewis. Lewis has only averaged a couple more pts and reb per game with the Magic than Peja has with the Hornets. They are basically both outside shooters in the way they play. Of course Lewis is better but not as much as you would think given the huge advantage Lewis has in terms of youth and athleticism. Lewis just doesn't use that athleticism that much in Orlando. He's mostly just a shooter.

It seems that Paul can't get a steal today.

I want the Hornets to make a comeback, only to fall short at the end, so they expend a lot of energy.

    Flyin' Ryan sighting! :D

Edit: LMAO at Bowen ending the scoring drought.

Neither team had scored in almost 6 minutes... until Bowen took over. :D
