me and my lil sis went out and made some snowballs using the snow on the car. First snowball I ever threw. The one she threw at me actually hurt, I wasn't aware that they hurt.

Just left Downtown on the 219 and there is still a light dusting snow falling....very light. I have a pic on my iPhone if anyone's actuall imterested in seeing it. (I'll email it to ya so you can post it here)

Im a Yankee so this dont really excite me though. It more concerns me about the driving conditions and those around me who speed like its bone dry outside.

    Just thought I'd share.

It was technically snowing over here near 8 and I-10 for a while today. No accumulation on the ground, but walking around in snow is always fun.

It is really coming down now, BIG flakes. My daughter and the kids next door are having a ball throwing snowballs at each other.

Cool - snow - I don't believe it! And it's not melting immediately. I only just noticed - it hadn't been snowing when I got home.

(I'm in NW Houston - Spring Branch area)

you can see how fast it is coming down from the pics in my earlier post and then compare it to the same shot in one a hour or so later.

the bbq smokers in my backyard just had a light covering at around 6:30 or so...when I took more pics about 8:30, it is covered and the yard around it is thick with the white stuff.

totally awesome. I finally had to drag my kid in, she was damn near soaked.

Dude that is totally awesome...is it gonna stick at least overnight in my old haunting grounds?

    Those flakes look enormous.

I've got to assume that once the sun comes up this is all history.

They are calling for a high of 56 tomorrow....Im frankly surprised it's showing 30 degrees out here right now, which shoudl be enough to keep the snow intact at least overnight.

news this evening was showing the sleet/snow precip colors over the Austin/SA corridor...yall get any of this?

Oh it isn't snowing anything like that here! I'm mean there's just enough to make snowballs - especially if you're scraping the stuff off cars.

I just saw a neighbor kid slip and slide down a staircase. I thought to warn him - but it was more about all the wet steps and sidewalks possibly freezing by morning. Well, maybe this will better prepare him than any old warning I would have given him.
