San Antonio will CLOSE this one out, i gaurantee that. The hornets have played amazing but San Antonio has been through this NUMEROUS times they have the mindset and the experience.
The road team has been blown out in every game in this series. Assuming David West is close to full strength, I think I'll stick with that trend. Hornets by 10.
I chose the Spurs. Playing at home in game 7 may put extra pressure on the Hornets, especially if they don't blow it open in the 3rd quarter like before. It will be "gut check" time and they will lack in that department. It's possible Chris Paul could go bananas and carry them since nobody on the Spurs can guard him. At the same time, it's also possible TP, Manu or both go off for the Spurs. If the Hornets get behind in the 2nd half, I wouldn't be surprised if they crumble. This game will NOT follow the pattern of the first 6 games. Games 7s have a completely different atmosphere from the opening tip.
i'm hoping hornets win. I love TD and Parker, but i'd like the conference finals to NOT be a borefest for once.
I think as a Rockets fan, you have to root for SA. They're old and won't stay on top much longer and you don't want another team getting championship experience.
This is eerily reminiscent of the Sonics-Rockets '93 Semifinals. Both teams finished with the same win totals. The first 6 games have all been blowouts by the home team. So I guess this means Game 7 will be really close with the Hornets prevailing at the end.
I've felt this way since the beginning of the playoffs. The Spurs are the house. And you never bet against the house. I won't change my mind until they really look out of it. The Spurs' playoff experience perseveres.
I want them both to call it quits and give the Lakers a free ticket to the finals, only to get beaten by Detroit. I'd rather have Detroit be the champ than any of the teams left, but let's not get too ahead of myself.
Hope to see Boston (even if I think they will not win against Pistons) destroyed by the Hornets in the Finals, so I'm going with NO.
Considering how each team killed the other on their home floors, I'm going to go with Hornets but it'll be close w/ so much pressure on NO.
I don't like either team but I cannot stand David West and his sucky attitude and the stupid mean mug faces he makes when he disagrees with a call. Such a shame cause he is a good talent. I hope the Spurs win. As long as Kobe is in the western finals it guarantees to NOT be a "borefest".
If it's a close game going into the 4th it's a Spurs game, but if the Hornets manage to get an early lead they might hold on into it.
