Can't see the video at work, but the pictures are to die for. If I ever get super rich, I'm importing and right-hand-drive-converting an R32, R33, R34, and one of these. Skyline are easily my favorite car in the less than $500,000 range.
The technology in that car is unbelievable. I was talking to a sales rep at Mossy Nissan and he said they had 7 coming in. All owners had to put a minimum of $10,000 down, non refundable and the car is delivered to their home. That car is insane.
SURE, once I buy one for me, pay off my student loans, pay off my house and my truck, save some money in the 401K and my kids's college fund, then I will start saving for yours.
A $70,000 bargain. Early dyno tests are showing the car making a fair amount more hp than advertised. Nissan is sandbagging. Convert the fuel system to run E85, tweak the computer, put in a bigger intercooler, and enjoy your 600 hp Ferrari eater.
According to this site it will do it in 7:25 Nurinburg lap. I am not sure if that is a qarter mile. http://www.worldcarfans.com/9080409.007/nissan-gt-r-v-spec-spotted-in-germany
The car is kick ass!!! but don't have the $$$ to get one. Corvettes, vipers,Porsche, BMW M series, Mercedes AMG models all bow down to the king of the streets for now.. Heard Chevy is coming with a bad ass Corvette that will compete with the GTR and no I'm no talking about the ZO6.
Per the link you just provided... This is clearly 7 minutes, 25 seconds to complete one lap of a (seemingly long) course. It has nothing to do with the 1/4 mile.
Still would prefer a Skyline (R34 specifically). But this is pretty sweet. People gonna hop on this like they hopped on the Lexus IS-F.
I have a Z right now and so hope to have the money one day to buy this car. This is literally my dream car. I'd swap the stock rims for the 20' axis mod 7's I currently have on my Z like the ones here: http://www.wheelsworld.com/451-Axis-Mod_7-350Z-Custom-Wheels.html One sweet ride though!
