You are just amaizing!! Thank you for helping out! I didn't know that some americans spoke in code!
Is there a dictionary or book to learn about it?
    When was it first used?
How can you tell if an american is speaking in code?

Lol. No problem. For further help, go to http://www.urbandictionary.com/

But seriously, I have no idea why people here are taking it as saying he isn't coming to Houston. Perhaps you have to have heard it used before to understand what I mean, but that phrase does not mean that. We will see in the coming months, though.

we used to own a pizza joint a couple years back in the alief area. my cousin went to deliever a pizza and rashard lewis opened the door and paid for it. turns out it was his grandmothers house. anyway, the point is that he didnt tip. now if he doesnt tip pizza drivers, then i dont see him taking a pay cut in the millions.

also, he dunked on my brother in highschool. my brother's claim to fame.

another thing. someone please tell him how to dress when he goes out to eat.

really? rashard has to dress up when he goes to bj's? wtf i dont remember seeing that place as a 5 star restaurant. dude is too tall for that seat he's sitting on though. good luck to which ever team he decides to play for. yeah we should have picked him up in that draft but we didn't so all we can hope for is to somehow pick him up through a S&T with Seattle. you can't blame a guy for still trying to make money. i know we WANT him to take a pay cut and sign with us, cause really we need a 3rd option, but would you guys really do that? i know its stupid to ask that question because everything rocket fan would say yes they would take pay cuts to win championships so why aren't all the star NBA players getting out of their contracts and signing with us for a crap contract? lol a bit off topic but still, i seriously doubt he's coming to houston unless he can get a real long term contract. this is probably his last chance at either getting a championship or getting paid because we all know that during the next season healthy or not he's not going to play with as much motivation as he did this year.. i really wish the finals were over and the real trade talks were made public because imo i think the threads are getting worse and worse by the second. :(

What he really means is that he's looking for Pacific coast type of contract, that's why Houston and its reasonable standard of living doesn't suit him.

    i

"What it do play boy?" "You feelin' ya boy 'Shard gettin krunk in our back yard wit da home squad?"

Come'on dude it is obvious there are more ways of saying something other than the normal grammatically correct, school-taught way. It is not code...this is not some language of some secret society. It's just everyday slang. No big deal.

I do however believe that Rashard's response was referencing Houston's unwillingness to pay him what he will find to be the market on his services...a lot more than what Houston is able and willing to pay...hence..."They aint ready for me in Houston."

Rashard is playing in FL period, doesn't want the added pressure of friends, families, and groupies in the Houston area. It is a lot easier to reach the NBA finals in the east than west and he knows that. Imagine a Miami team with Wade, Lewis, and Shaq on the floor. It's a rap, especially if Shaq convinces Steve to come.

He failed to do that. Hence, the post dripping with sarcasm. I even said it was only a second interpretation of what he said. It was as if he was pissed I had a different opinion of what was said. He hasn't said anything since this post, so maybe he understands now? Let us know what you think Yetti without trying to embarrass someone.

Anyway, what he says in public will have little bearing on his decision, especially if it isn't an interview i.e. Mike James. I, honestly, don't believe he is leaning towards Houston. I do, however, believe that he is intrigued with Houston and can be convinced to come here. How? No idea, but there is a small possibility.

While you all parse a perhaps not verbatim quote that was heard second-hand, this is the newest rumor about Lewis:

    Celtics, Sonics trade scenario
    Posted: Tuesday June 12, 2007 06:15AM ET

If Phoenix doesn't work out as a trading partner, there is speculation around the league about a possible deal with Seattle that would bring forward Rashard Lewis to Boston. Lewis reportedly is good friends with Gerald Green and would consent to the deal if Green is not a part of the package. Robert Swift also could be in the mix. Danny Ainge has coveted Swift in the past.
