Actually during yesterday's game, Yang Yi said that Yao just started running yesterday morning and now is looking at returing at the end of the month.
Yao is such a hard worker,I think the whole league knows this. And BTW,I was watching the game on CCTV5 last night, and near the end they mentioned Yao was able to run and has begun doing that, Yao hoped he can come back to court by the end of this month.
I don't get why people like to read these "dedicated long threads", I mean they are long, it takes years to roll over the pages. Why not just let people make a new thread when an update is available? With a new post, it's much easier to notice, also easier to click in and read.
because...it creates additional burden on the website itself. The mods prefer us to not have repeat threads.
they both work hard and have disciplines, that's the point, they are both in this catagory. Most big beefy athletic guys don't shoot FT very well because they don't have soft hands, e.g. TD, Shaq, big Ben, and King James. Yao is exceptional.
Hey whata ya know? One of the very few smart things to ever come out of that ass's mouth. I really hope Yao can get back to the level he was playing at rather quickly. I became so accustomed to watching him dominate in all of his games this year, it'll be tough to see him slowly climb back to the level he was at. It's been so much fun to watch Yao since last years all-star break. With his aformentioned work ethic, however, I don't expect it to take him more than a game or two.
Great praise coming from the Zen Master. Good find. Sure he's trying to motivate Bynum, but I do think he does mean what he says here in this case. Haha, and people say JVG is hard on rookies. PJ used to "meow" at Kwame Brown, back when he wasn't playing strong. I'll let you figure out what his nickname for Kwame was, as it's probably an inappropriate word to type here.
This is what I dislike about PJ the most. He just can't stop with the negative chatter about his players. He's won 9 championships but please give it a rest. But I'm sure Lakers fans worship the ground he walks on. For me, these "measured statements" are a big negative for me. He is still a great coach though.
Well, no one is asking you to start reading from the very first page. Do you know how to roll over the pages ? It was so simple. Just click onto the "Last Page" button on the thread on the menu, and you're there on that very page that will contain the latest update.
LMAO! Exactly my thoughts, there is no way that wasn't yet another subtle shot at Shaq. I mean he said that just because you're "aging" doesn't mean you should stop improving...that isn't directed at Bynum, not in the least bit. It's Shaq all the way, and he used Yao/Duncan only to drive that point home...
Just wondering where is McGrady under Elton Brand's list of untouchable players. Maybe, he was thinking about MsGrady bad back problem when he made the assessment. For a more balanced assessment, I went to the Clippers' Elton Brand, who correctly pointed out that only about five players in the NBA fall into the untouchable category. None of them plays for the Knicks. Brand's list: Yao Ming, Tim Duncan, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade and LeBron James. Can't argue much with that. http://www.newsday.com/sports/colum...07,0,7775905.column?coll=ny-sports-columnists
