It was in Spring on Spring Cypress just east of 45. I had quiet a few soccer parties there growing up. Remeber the Indian Cheif? There is still a Charlies on I-10, somewhere by the Gessner exit, dont remeber exactly
Otto's hamburger really isn't a fast food chain or anything, but damn or those good burgers. Good fries, too.
Oh yeah...dbl dbl and fries...tasty! Gotta eat it hot though. Whataburger sux. Their fries are limp and usually the burgers are cold and tasteless. About every 4th one that you try my cook their burgers right and be half-decent.
Yeah, the indian cheif was cool!!!! The only other resturaunt I remember more fondly growing up is Steffs BBQ in Channelview. Man, those were the days!!!!
As far as the fast food burger joints, there is a chain in Memphis called Backyard Burger. They have the best burgers I've eaten at a fast food joint. They are the reason Burger King is now promoting a black angus burger. Backyard Burger only uses black angus on for their burgers.
Only in America can there exist pretentious fast food connoisseurs. Inject the lard into your asses and save a couple steps.
JUST MOVED TO CALIFORNIA FROM HOUSTON THIS YEAR, AND CAN HONESTLY SAY THAT IN N OUT BUGER IS THE BEST BURGER OUT THERE. DON'T LISTEN TO THE NAY SAYERS. ITS THAT GOOD.
FATBURGER! Granted i've only had it once in Vegas at 4 in the mornin on some drunk stumble back to the hotel it was DEE-LISH!!
I went out to California for my job around May of this year and flew into LAX. Ate at In N Out a couple of times...I thought it was great, especially the french fries (the best I ever had). I think some people are always going to go against "the flow" because it might be the "trendy" thing to do. Bottom line - In N Out rocks.
Whataburger doesn't really suck, but it's definitely overrated. They have really good chicken sandwiches and chicken strips, but the burgers are mostly bland and dry. They have the best ketchup, though...
Have you somehow been eating my hamburgers too, because you just described my experiences with Whataburger to a "T". Except that I prefer the limp fries. Hey you forgot to mention that they smash their burgers down so they look more like demolished cars at a junkyard.
Woohoo! The pesto or the clam and garlic is what I have nearly every time. The entire Gifford/McGinley clan probably has about 62 t-shirts from their $5 slice/t-shirt deal. Braum's is good as well. Their jalepeno cheeseburger rocks.
