I believe Kagy is right on this one. I had a tax liability in 2000 because I had income. Just because I overpaid that liability and received a refund as a result does not mean I did not have a tax liability. ------------------ I always thought "With my talent, it's only a matter of time before I'm discovered". Now I think "With my talent, it's only a matter of time before I'm found out". [This message has been edited by Behad (edited June 07, 2001).]
Um, it was from CNN. From the link you sited, it sounds like I would be able to claim it as a deductable for 2001 if I did not recieve a refund for that year also. (which I did and which would also exempt me from the refund/rebate) I'M SO CONFUSED!!!! Come on! Any tax people out there that can clear this up? ------------------ Everything you do, effects everything that is.
Hmm. Frankly, I pray I won't need Social Security either, but I sure as heck won't give it back to the government if I don't need it. I'll give it to charity.
