That's not Rick Springfield!!!! It's an Alien that looks like Rick Springfield as his younger self and he came here because of...Jerry Seinfeld!!!

I've been rowing (erging?) a lot lately. Steady state cardio that doesn't beat up my knees? Pretty awesome. I did a lifting run for about 4 months, had to stop due to fatigue and decided to dust off my wife's rower to keep the weight loss going. About 15lbs down since Thanksgiving.

Finally hit my tipping point this weekend while on vacation. I’ve put on ~20lbs in a year since hernia surgery. I was recovered 4 months later but got out of my routine and was lazy. I’ve been doing ‘maintenance’ lifting for six months but almost no cardio so my musculature hasn’t suffered much.

Back to running in the morning and/or possibly rows, we have a decent rowing machine but I’m not sure
It will melt fat like running does for me.

How about bicycling instead of running. I take my e-bike to the park

Is the caloric burn the same for the time spent?

I love riding a bike but it just doesn’t seem as time effective.

I'm able to spend a lot more time because I catch speed breeze while everyone is melting away . It's also fun seeing how people turn around like youre a shark about to eat them

I may work it in a few times a week. Thanks for reminding me how much fun it is. I still hop curbs like a little kid when I’m on my bike.
