If he's getting pelted with nonstop Prigozhin-like rebellions and insurrections, it wouldn't be off the table for him using nukes.

He launched that continental ballistic missile, Oreshnik, that was labeled hypersonic even when it's the main delivery is tech from last mid century. It wasn't nuclear and it was still enough to destroy underground facilities in Dnipro. There was online speculation over how it could be used to level air fields at a lower cost than conventional means.

I'm not sure we want to dare Putin to escalate. Your question is coached in binary yes/no but it really depends on how much of a grasp he has and what tools he has left in order to regain control as a result of political losses from Ukraine.

The script is flipped right now, but there's good reasons why Biden wasn't ready to make Russia fold so bad that there would be an internal regime change.

That's the thing. Every developed country's demographics are ****, so playing Rockem Sockem Robots through Russia and Ukraine seems like a distraction away from real problems.

I'm getting sick of seeing Jeffrey Sach's mug in my video feeds. The way he presents his points are awful, but his mind is on the right crisis, which is sustainability and resource needs to match further growth as emerging markets rise into developed status.

I also think people in PRC and Taiwan aren't ready for a real fight. The entire Pacific would rather trade and do business even if they low key hate or resent some of their trade partners.

The rapid growth and development in drone warfare and robotics will definitely shift the initial decision making calculus away from readiness in personnel, for better or worse. Pentagon talks a big game with their Hellscape program, but a by the numbers calculation hints that defending forces can't overcome the quantity and production capacity of Chinese wartime and dual use drone manufacturers.

This would totally be a lose-lose fight none of the public wants, but we're all building up in order to strike a better deal, and the public on all sides also have expectations for it.

I`ve stopped trying to make sense of what trump is doing but my biggest thing is you send in a guy to negotiate who does not have ANY experience dealing with a guy like putin and your shocked when you dont get results.................typical. If thats how you thought you would end the war in one day, they you're a bigger idiot that I thought

Edit: you make a lot of assumptions about others, fine most of us do. You always assume which side I fall on racial topics thinking I'm always b****ing about "The Man" when you've been ******** on America the whole thread

Russia and North Korea are allies of the United States, and the Trump regime.

The West, and pro-Democracies around the world are the enemies of the United States.

It's just that simple. It would be incredibly stupid if any intelligence officials from the Five Eyes, or our NATO allies ever shared any amount of intelligence that they didn't also want Russia to have. You just have to assume that there is the West/Five Eyes.... and then there is the Three Eyed Monster of the United States, Russia, and North Korea... along with a couple other low level leaches like El Salvador, Israel, Belarus, and Hungary.

But there just isn't a debate anymore. The United States under the Trump regime is a strategic ally of Russia. It's just that simple.

Trump realizing in real time what liberals have been saying in this thread the last 2 years. Russia does not want peace and wants all of Ukraine and it was Russia that are liars.

The biggest morons in this thread get exposed again @Space Ghost @El_Conquistador .

    Ehhh....

I mean it would be foolish of me to walk around scared, and not sleeping at night because I thought a Black Mamba was going to bite me at any moment...

.....but it would be equally foolish to go on a safari through the brush of Sub Saharan Africa with flip flops, and board shorts.

    ....

Answer this question for me please if you don't mind-

If you are a country that is currently being invaded by a major nuclear power, the tyrant leading that country is an insane murdered who is in poor health, winning that war is a matter of life and death survival for that murderous tyrant, that murderous tyrant is constantly threatening to use nuclear weapons, and the war is at a stalemate....

Which one of these scenarios do you think Ukraine is in currently respectively-

-Sitting in the comfort of your house worrying about being bit by a Black Mamba
    or
    -Walking through the Saharan brush????

Given the scenario that Ukraine is in, I think its fair to understand that a healthy level of fear is appropriate.

For a moment there, I thought you were referring to the US/Iraq war. Anyhoo, if the World's Greatest Actor doesn't get **** figured out soon, he will face the same fate as the infamous leader in Iraq

Zelenskyy knew full well Putin wouldn't show. Putin is scared Zelenskyy would challenge him to pistols at ten paces. Or a WWE retirement match. Zelenskyy just attended to curry favor with Trump. I wouldn't be surprised if he hasn't already bought a big chunk of Trump crypto.
