I've seen other reports that say that's not true and that RM is holding out for Xabi Alonso. Man that United game yesterday was absolutely bonkers. Turn back just in time to see Maguire's goal. Didn't even realize the score was now 5-4 because I never saw Mainoo's beauty. What I would've given to be at Old Trafford for that ending. Hojlund is our only striker available for the EL and he is worthless. I saw him throwing hissyfits at not getting the ball when he either didn't make the run at all or made the wrong run. His instincts as a striker are terrible. If De Ligt is healthy enough for the semi...I seriously consider starting ol' Slabhead at the 9. Maybe not for long but I'd at least think about it. As much s*** as that guy has been given over the years (and much of it rightly so), he's been nothing but a warrior and absolutely clutch in some big moments.
