I hate when I miss a CodBomb!! He's so sneaky just slinks in drops his gem and rides back into the sunset! @Codman - brother I hope your health is well and you are thriving! Did you finish the book? 313?? -- Ausar???
Bromigo, not all of us have the time to read every thread on the BBS. These áre the best types of threads. The Popeye, Doc Rocket threads of old.
Thanks for posting this! I'd missed it I don't know if it'd be the best move, but It'd be a lot of fun to add Ausar to the mix. You'd have terror quadruplets out there.
Cam is instant offense. Obviously he thinks he's ready to start now, I don't think he got past the trip to the RGV....he's probably still sulking.
This is a good point. It'd bode well for keeping him over the long run. There'd always be the chance that they'd want to team up elsewhere.
But then it messes with the other one’s head when you inevitably have to separate them. They seem to be functioning well apart. Don’t force the crippling draw of twincest on them or the organization.
I've heard enough Kanye to know that the Windy City = the Chi. They got 8 year olds walking into a hospital trying to gun down a rival gang and put a scare on Dr. Benton. That ain't right. Them boys just trying to get their residency and bang their co workers. What was this thread about? yess Fans wanting Coby White should be happy Chicago is calling about Cam. Codman's post always sound like the DJ lady from The Warriors. I really don't want to trade Cam.
Cam dropped in the draft for a reason. It's all about culture, who's coachable and willing to set aside their selfish interests for the team. I trust Stone to make the right move by either holding or folding.
At that price, I would definitely like it, 48 minutes of Thompson Twins terrorizing opposing offenses, but hard to see Detroit doing that without at least one FRP thrown in, which would be a lot more dubious
A more likely trade target from Detroit might be to buy low on Jaden Ivey, similar to how we picked up an injured Adams last season. The fit between Cade and Ivey has always been questionable, and Cade has really solidified himself this season. On top of that, Detroit has a ton of backcourt players and wings. Ivey is due for an extension next season, and it's possible Detroit doesn't want to lock him up long-term with all the other young players they need to pay. If we were to acquire him, he could be FVV's heir apparent starting next season, or perhaps he could come off the bench as a 6th man in the backcourt, if we were to extend FVV and keep him as the starter for awhile longer. Again, I think he would take more than just Cam Whitmore to get him, would probably require one or more FRPs as well.
Cam is far and away our best impact scorer off the bench - we don't have anyone else like it, he is instant offense and puts major pressure on the other team. He is a contrast to our normal style - and that is hard to game plan for, please keep him. DD
