Not too soon. Espada’s job should not be fully secure. The team underperformed last season. He tinkers with the lineup too much trying to play matchups and make everybody happy and basically continue spring competitions into the season, all bad ideas. Pick the 9-10 guys you think are your best players and play them everyday. Trying to play Rodgers, Dubon, McCormick, Meyers, and Smith all regularly across 3 spots is stupid.
His job should not be secure. However, too many guys in the lineup who are one trick ponies yet again.

The Talent Level is a Question Mark. Isaac Paredes as a Pull Hitter as the 2nd Hitter ain't working. Yordan Alvarez can't see the ball and is Striking Out almost every at bat. Christian Walker as the 4th Hitter is a Flop, Striking Out in Crucial Situations. Yanier Diaz and Jeremy Pena forgot to Hit Only Jose Altuve is hitting for power Cam Smith is the 2nd best Hitter with 2 singles How far low is after Cam Smith in hitting this season. 1 or 2 runs a game is normal for the Astros Hitters chasing after low pitches or balls in the dirt for strikeouts. Spencer was great the rest of the Starters are mediocre performance, the bullpen is the only positive, along with Altuve hitting.
