The Astros Edge was that they had the smartest guys in the room and now have a tree that stretches to Baltimore and Milwaukee.

If the Astros don’t make the playoffs, so be it. My bigger concern is if they still have the “smartest folks in the room? Outside of what our insiders post I have no clue. Jury still out on Dana. Dusty makes too many questionable moves and should be challenged by management. Hopefully Crane is watching

Luhnow is probably the all time GM goat so losing that is really tough to overcome.

Who cares? PBS is an ultra-left organization funded through private donations, public donations, and tax dollars. No tax dollars should go to politically motivated media. The media is supposed to be the last defense against an increasingly corrupt autocratic government (no matter which party is in power).

The media’s failure to remain neutral is the number one issue that is putting all our freedoms at risk. I don’t feel guilty about getting political in this thread, because the media’s obvious collusion with MLB to demonize the Astros while leaving the NE and West Coach untouched by the scandal is analogous to the national media’s collusion with the national government (be it Democratic or Republican) to rule our life and take away our constitutional rights.

Glad I got that off my chest. Now back to the Fire Dusty thread!

Frontline will report the facts so this won’t be garbage. If you refuse to drop tribalism when faced with facts then that’s just immaturity.
