20 years old. Any good investment advice?

    I would like to know how did it turn out with original post 8 years later. The best practical advise is probably follow Dave Ramsey's advise, get out of deb and invest. It is not hard to become a net worth millionaire, in face it is much easier than you would think.

    Hope things worked out for the OP and if they didn't and he's now 28 there still is plenty of time to start building wealth.

    S&P 500 Index has done me wonders over the years, through good times and bad.

    It was my go to throughout my entire investing life.

    Now I use it as more of a checking account, my savings is elsewhere.
