That makes sense to me, I don't think THAT many people look at Nuk as a guy that is worth the money he's trying to command. So he'll have to choose between the money and ring chasing. In the past, he always picked money.
I mean you could trade like a 3rd since he’s in his final year. Not too expensive for this year.. But after that I’m not sure what you mean, we have more cap space than anyone. But if Dhop is cheaper then ok.
The Texans have 15 mil in cap space, if you traded for Mike Evans, he'd take up 13 mil of it. So sure, they could technically do it, but it would eat up just about all of their cap space and he'd almost certainly be a one year rental, is that worth it for a team that almost certainly won't be a contender?
I mean do we have a need for that 15 mil? And that’s 15 mil before dropping anyone. Kirksey and a few others could net another 5-10 mil.
DHop is major trouble -- do not want. He has behavioral problems and more. Let's have a clean start to this new era and ensure the locker room culture is positive.
if the price is right the Texans may as well surround Stroud with firepower while still operating on rookie deal Hopkins is still good enough to garner game planned type attention that would open up the field for the other receivers but in the end, Hopkins will probably go to one of those more surefire contenders like Ravens/Bills etc or in the end whoever offers the biggest bag$
