There are 4 clear bad teams. We have several losses more than the 4th worst team. Winning a few games isn’t going to hurt us.
14% chance lol... the idea that broadening the odds across more spots would create an incentive not to tank is comically stupid. Instead of the last place team tanking games as before, we now have 5-7 teams tanking every year, lol. The nba knows that the majority of fans that don't attend games are stupid, and that the majority of fans that attend games will do so for reasons unrelated to the quality of the on court product (corporate suites). The only reason for the rule shift that makes sense is to stop incompetent management from having a monopoly on draft capital. Also great for teams that will pay luxury tax (since the relative value of other assets rises) bad for teams that won't. I haven't paid for an NBA product since the Golden State ref debacle, so I don't personally care, but I kind of feel bad for the morons that can't deduce what's going on with the league.
100%. If we suffered through nearly 3 years of losing just to screw it up at the end and end up getting the 7th pick, I am going to be so pissed. We literally only have to do this for like 12 more games or something. Then, next season, we can do everything in our power to win every game in earnest without repercussions. We won't even control our own destiny with the picks so there is no downside. Let's control our destiny one last time though.
and this is 14% of chance to get the guy that shoots below 30% on short european 3s lololololol! can you elaborate more on corporate suites, what are they? did the owners found a way to get paid for the seats and not even fill them? corporations pay for the suits to get some tax alleviation or the other or something, so it pays to both sides and these people dont even show up to watch games...LOL
i have a pretty bad feeling about how this season will end, last couple games have been a debacle. Texans level awfulness
helo there buddy ...has anyone informed you that you dont get rings with the top picks? 1, 2 3 its just the empty number of the pick...it doesnt mean pick 1 is better player than pick 3 or 5...assigning these numbers to young players is a very random and arbitrary process decided by the politics and ignorant GMs OF THE WORST TEAMS and the media hype machine (hello brain! to get more clicks and money) and you of all people should know the value and the beauty of rooting for random underdogs instead of heavy favorites!
really the fans are the problem! tilman stone and silas are innocent, they just give people what they want! @Ankara1923
It's crazy how we're 99% of the way through our 3 year tankathon and now is the time that people want to abandon it. Come on, y'all. Just a little more. A late season win streak won't mean sh*t by next season.
We have nothing to do with it, it’s just young players getting better. These guys are learning how to win.
