    What is Jaesean key at - wearing sweatshirts?

    I hope this kind of stuff is just value pumping but falling in love with the core of the 3 time worst team in basketball is not advisable

    It’s not surprising it feels like everything from insider tidbits, to the coaching staffs trust in him, all the team interviews, his extension, everything has always pointed to Tate being loved by the organization.

    I don’t see why fans are so annoyed by him either, as if moving Tate fixes the team, if we move Gordon and waive Nix (Or park him in the g-league) there’s going to be enough minutes for everybody.

    The Rockets need defense, playmaking and inside scoring, Tate brings those things.

    This is exactly right. It isn't that Tate isn't a good player or fit, but the Rockets need to keep developing their backcourt. The Rockets should be able to get good value out of Tate. Keep Eason and Martin and keep it moving.

    Core = players vital to your team's present and future success. What is Tate at this point? The 6th or 7th best player on the roster?

    I’ve been very happy with Stone’s drafts, but I am starting to question his ability to negotiate trades.

    I think people may, at times, over estimate the market for role players on such a bad team.

    Regarding Tate, I'm somewhat interested in seeing what his 3pt shot looks like this year, if he really developed it. I don't know what the plan would be if he was healthy right now. I guess they would take minutes away from Tari based on seniority or something. I'd like to see if Tate could replace some of the guard minutes instead.

    Whole KPJ experiment; his & Silas’ baby (TMacMahon: “Rafael Stone has a lot of emotional equity in him. If he pans out, Rafael looks like a genius. Rafael really likes him. Both Seattle guys.”)
    “Daishen Nix is a lottery talent”
    Keeping Gordon as long as he has (because “we don’t want another first”, while also telling everyone how he has a first lined up)
    “Tate is a key part of our core”

    If he's improved his 3pt shot, it's extremely stupid to trade him before he's shown it. I think Tate is sticking around this season and he's actually a good role model for these kids.

    We're going to the playoffs next season. We're going to contend within the next 3-5 years. Tate has his 5 peak years in front of him. I'm not worried about the age thing at all. He's the perfect age to be the only vet on this roster and he won't be bored like Gordon.

    I don’t see how we’re holding on to EG or Tate. Just let both go for whatever you can get. As long as we dont get salary beyond this season.

    If we truly value Tari & Tate, why haven’t we showcased KJ more? I do believe of those 3, KJ is most likely to be traded.
