Some posters here with so-called "expert opinions" are getting pied in the face. Way to judge a 19 yr-old rookie and determine his career arc within the first month of the season. You guys know exactly who you are even if you're avoiding this thread like the plague now. Your clown takes will just keep getting worse from here on out. Go back to slobbering over Banchero. Jabari doesn't want your **** handjobs.
I really hated the way he played at the start of the season but he looks like he has adjusted to the speed of the game now. He does still shoot a bit flat on some of those turn around mid range shots. But lobe his confidence.
He is a great challenger, never accepts to lose similar to Tari and Sengun. These 3 are alphas of the team, future champions. Glad to have him in Houston.
It's obvious Jabari will be a big time player who dramatically impacts winning. Give him and the rest of these guys time.
I said it less than 10 games into the season and now I will say it again, you DO NOT jump to conclusions about a player less than 10 games into their rookie season. Even if you happen to end up being right, that simply makes you a lucky idiot instead of just an idiot.
He looks really good. His play recently is probably what his floor is for his career. Great piece with Green.
The more I’ve watched Jabari the more he reminds me of Danny Manning on offense. He has that similar dribble slowly then pull up shot and post up only to fade away on an opponent. We haven’t really used him in the same way Manning got most of his shots which were to pick and pop but I think Jabari could excel there as well. Jabari even has that similar unselfish attitude that it’s just about playing the game the right way. Both very much system type players. Manning didn’t need to dribble much either.
Great comp!! First time i heard someone make this comparison and its incredibly good. Obviously better 3 point shooter (but Manning would have been good if that was en vogue back then) and better defensive potential.
