What an amazing afternoon of games. As much of a sh**show this Cup has been off the field and the problems it has and will create going forward for the domestic leagues, on the field it is been one of the best I can remember. I've seen just about every game of every cup since 1990. I don't remember so much drama and so many swings on the last day of group games ever. So many top teams going down and completely unexpected underdogs moving on. Australia was widely considered the worst team, next to Qatar, in this Cup...and they're moving on...while Germany, Belgium, mexico. and Denmark are on planes home. Japan was considered good...but winning a group with Germany and Spain? Morocco winning the group with Croatia and Belgum? And we still have another day of it tomorrow before the knockout rounds begin on Saturday. I love this tournament. (yes, focusing solely on the on-the-field product and not the hosts and why this should've never happened).
they have something inside the ball: https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/the-world-cups-new-high-tech-ball-will-change-soccer-forever/
Agreed. Its been an enjoyable world cup. It is too bad the level of play will surely decrease with the move to 48 teams.
and south kore moves on lmao i think telemundo has el loco abreu on and he's mad salty. he's going on about corruption and pulling strings because uruguay didnt get a penalty. i think i heard a concha de tu madre slip in there as well lol
Uruguay literally had an open shot and the dude done passed the ball lmfao! You done let Jpop and kpop onto the next round, how could you?
kinda sucks tho. brazil v uruguay is a south american classic. much more attractive than brazil v korea
