He just needs to figure out the difference between what he thinks he is and what the team needs him to be. Right now he is playing selfishly and I think Silas is making the right call sitting him.
Like I said in another thread.. watch JC closely and you’ll see he’s completely lost out there. He doesn’t understand defensive rotation nor offensive sets. He’s a very low IQ player

he's the same player as last year... except his jumper is even more broken somehow. not a lot of room in the NBA for shooting guards that can't shoot. I wish we would have taken the Houston Cougar.
I said he is a starting NBA shooting guard eventually but he won't be that here, move him in the EGo trade if you need an asset to enhance and get an unprotected FRP. DD

Nix played the role he was asked too - they wanted him to improve on finishing at bucket and be a PG … JC was out there looking open players off and being selfish - so much so that it was called out by announcers in not 1 game but 2 games
Josh should get some time with the Vipers, refocus and get his momentum back. He’s clearly more talented than Nix and Mathews.
I'm surprised that he's no longer in our rotation at all. Maybe I shouldn't be too surprised based on him going ballhog-extraordinaire in our summer league games, but I hope he at least gets ahead of Nix in the rotation.
