And the funny thing is all these teams just happen to get hot for one run the don’t even come close to this same output the following season I don’t understand this at all it’s the weirdest thing I’ve in sports these last Astros World Series

I agree with you that last year isn't a choke. But this year's team is as good if not better than 2019. I would consider this year a choke.

If they were to lose this series, would it be 04 Lakers-Pistons level upset?

I’m actually more disappointed in our hitting than our pitching. We knew the Phillies could hit and LMj was shaky in his last start. Having our bats this cold is a worrying sign and usually it’s been our hitting they let’s us down.

Dusty has done a poor job, but let's not ignore the 1-5 hitters not showing up tonight. Lance could've pitched a shutout after that Harper HR in the 1st and the Astros would still be losing this game.

    It'll be Nats-astros and Braves-astros upset.

Batting has been the problem every WS since 2017.

Welp...I would say Yordan and Judge are on similar wavelengths in the post-season. They had a little something in the early series but tailed off into auto-outs basically later on. You either got it or you don't.

I’m not a baseball guy so I have no point of reference for those…just trying to get an idea of the difference level between these 2 teams

Why? The Braves were a 88-win team last year and beat a 95-win Astros squad.

Just hard to see us winning with the amount of momentum they have… and it’s Nola. This was a big game. Sucks.

Mattress Mack needs to stop leaving Vegas on the hook for 75 million every time the Astros are in the World Series. Vegas will always find a way to avoid ginormous payouts like that.

Even 2005 WS batting was garbage.
