I'd keep him for Jokic and Nurkic match ups. Other than that, I want his positive aura around this young team. Many people may not see it as much, but it does set a tone and keeps the locker room lighthearted. I don't care for whatever other scrub signing we would have as the 15th man. Also don't care that we are carrying 4 centers. Favors is only here temporarily anyways, probably want to combine his contract with EGs at deadline.
I agree, pretty much. Boban is the only true C on the squad, in the sense that he can only play that rim-protection role; to me, Sendun/Fernando/Garuba/Favors are all more PFs than Cs, on both ends of the court. I wouldn't suffer too much heartache to lose Garuba and Favors in trades. Fernando has been the pleasant surprise-- I really like his scrap, and, after seeing him shoot 3s in Europe a few weeks back, would like to see him shoot a corner three in the TC. I'm wondering if Fernando could back up both the 5 and 4 positions. Alpy does draw fouls...
Hire him as big man coach-assistant to the assistant or some clown to entertain us. We don't need to fill up a roster spot with Boban.
All these posters hating on Boban when you all damn well know that whoever occupies Boban's roster slot, will also never see playing time. Y'all acting like the spot is between Boban and a superstar FA.
Was at the rockets open practice today he was very involved with the team, I don't think we will cut him or trade him.

At first I thought Boban was a scrub but his per 36 numbers are stellar. He is so large he can probably only go 100% for 8 or 9 minutes a game but he really does produce. I think he's a great situational player.
When Boban gets the ball under the basket, he is pretty much unstoppable. He is like a statue nobody can move him.
I think Boban should be kept off the floor to avoid the wrath of Rockets fans. He almost caught it tonight.
