Maybe Tari Eason is a lot more comparable to Herb IMO, cuz we will prob use Jabari more on front court to cover for Sengun.
Don’t do that! Let’s be happy with what we saw, it’s exciting. We don’t need our 6’11” sniper to dribble much. Just need him to let it fly!
At the end of the day, if I had to guess, Banchero will end up being what the Magic need, and Smith will end up being what the Rockets need.
Tell me again how we missed out cuz Jabari can't dribble LMAO. Posters here are crazy always complain about ISO bball but then try to crap on a guy who is an elite 3nD as a 19 yr old smh. Shaq and Tim Duncan never did hesis on the court but somehow Jabari is gonna be a scrub cuz he doesnt do behind the back and crab dribbles on his opponent.
Dude is gonna shoot. People acting like 5 minutes of summer league actually brought that into question was hilarious. The only question I had, and still do, is his finishing at the rim. He never looked comfortable doing it in college. If he just ends up being Ryan Anderson that will be a disappointment, but he would still be crazy valuable with his defense and that has always felt like his floor. Having said that, I absolutely do believe that will improve also once he has an NBA level offense around him, more strength, and more comfort in general. As for playmaking, IDGAF, him not being Iverson means nothing. The list of players who have been amazing without off the dribble playmaking skills is a mile long.
If Ryan Anderson didnt have confidence issues, was athletic and a stud defender he would have been a star so I dont think thats a disappointment for Jabari at all. I'm really happy with Jabari. Banchero would've also been ok but Jabari was my first choice cuz his floor is an elite 3nD player, you always need a guy like him. And he is only 19 we dont know how good he'll become in the future.
