How come it often feels better late afternoon than at night? I’m walking my dogs, and barely a breeze…just stagnant hot air Will Fall just hurry tf up?
Please will it hurry up. Just had to have 3 of my ACs serviced, can’t have half my units down when it’s about to be 100 the rest of the week
One of two at our Florida house had to be replaced. The Florida rental was an easy fix for to a bad design of the drain piping. One in our MN lake house needed a new board because it's dual zoned and supply was limited, but our repair guy rigged until it failed again this year, but a board was now available. One at the MN house we were selling that cost about $900 to fix. All of these happened at the same time last summer.
I wish mine were at multiple places, I have 7 total at my business, 3 went out today alone. Fairly easy fix on one, drain line got backed up. The others are a little more extensive unfortunately
The main problem was that the two in MN were 1500 miles away. We're only left with one in MN now since we sold the old homestead last summer. At least we had a trusted repair guy who I didn't mind being in our lake house. He wouldn't even accept a tip I had left for him when he fixed this year's problem.
20k sq ft building, you don’t want one or two units. I have 5 in the main portion and 2 in the lobby area. I’m not going to train athletes in 90 degree indoor heat.
I was thinking "house" not "building". Those are 2 different things. Nobody needs so much house that they need 4 AC units, was my point.
Don't worry, Houston people. Fall is right around the corner. Should be here around mid-November or so.
I am looking to evacuate my family from Florida for next week due to this Ian hurricane. Looking at Dallas. No hurricanes or storms predicted for Dallas next week, right?
LOL. The thing is, I am traveling, and I don't want them to have to go through a hurricane without me.
Lock down the storm shutters, put anything outside that isn't bolted down inside the house/garage, and bail out.
I booked them a trip to Texas, flying out tomorrow. We don't have shutters, but hurricane impact windows. I wonder how long it takes in general after a hurricane has hit that you can fly back into the area? Usually a couple of days later?
