It's always such a productive discussion when 2 parties of directly contradictory perspectives of the topic, each with zero intention of ever changing their opinions, try to argue with each other.
My stance isn't even about kpj value at least when talking to jiggly. The Dude is making sht speculations about a team that doesn't even have the asset to do what he's trying to sell. Kpj is worth a late first round pick, and Lakers r willing to trade for him = "evidence/speculation" kpj at least worth that much. Fails to realize the only picks Lakers have are basically lottery bound. Gets offended when Gets called out for the sht speculation. It's not even two contradictory view point, it's just me pointing out a poster making dumb sht up to push his stance
i've put him on ignore for awhile - from all his anti-jalen green/pro mobley, anti-jabari smith/pro banchero stance... and then to idolize kpj of all players... can't deal with dumbshit posters like that or you'll just end up losing brain cells yourself
This is a poignant socio thought experiment at its core that sort of captures the overall vibe in society. Bully or get bullied. People that need to add monikers to those whom they disagree with like fanboy, idiot, moron, idolizer etc is cringe and honestly low brow for this place ...yet when they get called a "hater" they lose it and get offended! Insults do indeed become the weapon of the loser when confronted with a logical opposition and yet somehow the narcissism remains to tout their own precious mental capacities being reduced? Such a beautiful irony! Seems as if though you have to be more and more shocking in your takes in order to stand out! Shoutout to all the guys on the fence or with serious doubt that were able to make their impression felt without insecure quips. Preciate ya!
Not a lot of anti-Jabari Smith posters on CF to be honest. Bari just should not be that divisive. Rockets chose the best remaining player at #3.
I for one am loving the logic of bringing up players on bad value deals as justification for what we should be paying our players…it’s a very convincing and well thought out argument
Of the three, Jabari was the one I liked least ..... But I'm still happy with the pick. We didn't have a shot at the other two. Hard to be upset with the best player on the board when you pick.
This is exactly my take, I wanted Chet first, then Banchero and would settle for Jabari..... We got the 3rd player in the draft, the NBA once again got it right. DD
You may be right on this. Will have to see what they look like in yr 3, 4 and 5 to know for sure. Either way.. just glad we got one of the Big 3.
It is ok though, Jabari fits perfectly.....right now he is Robert Horry, if he learns to dribble and create he will be a great player if not still a very good one that fits. DD
Typical jiggly after getting dumpster on about his stance he slinks away to a different thread to type his nonsense stance. Kpj could b worth a late first round pick but the Lakers with lebron aren't trading for him.
KPJ going into his 4th year.
