That would be a shocker and the Yankees would faint. Side note he's never played in Yankee stadium. I still think if it is anybody in CF it's Taylor.
Good luck. I can't imagine THAT much of a market for a 31 year old outfielder with a .590 OPS this year.
They would have to give up prospects or another MLB player to move him. He's owed about 10 million the rest of this season and a 1 million dollar buyout for next year.
We filled a couple of holes yesterday. If the price keeps us from doing anything else that’s fine. They’re chasing us in the AL.
The Padres GM is like a compulsive gambler. He will deal the entire top of his farm system for one player.... even after he has to eat an additional 40 million dollars. He now is trying to trade another of his big mistakes (meyers) because of the luxury tax. The guy has to be in nirvana today.... most people dying think of the day they fell in love or their child was born.... not this guy, it will be when he emptied his farm system to pay a guy 550 million dollars. I am picturing him in **** stained underwear pacing with multiple phones on speaker, eating In-and-Out burgers and pissing in a 7-11 Big Gulp trying to find a back up middle infielder he can trade a draft pick for.... all while smoking swisher sweats and kicking some w**** in the head that has outstayed her welcome.
