For the love of God, turn up the volume on that. It sounds like a half-drunk guy says: "Not gettin back on defense." or something like that. And then I swear it's just like an Ewok chirping.
The cornerstone we been waiting for is here. Nothing extra just solidifies the team as a whole. It’s surreal knowing he will just get better with time. One couldn’t create a better player on a video game to fit our needs on and off the court.
I’m glad you showed that angle . I was trying to figure how he lost the ball . Wished he gobbled it better hahahaha . That would have been extra icing on the cake to an already sweet block !
Jeeesh. He will be 19 when the season starts. The microscopic criticism of this kid is out of control. Have you seen his frame? In 2 years, he’s going to look like Giannis. His motor is relentless. We are in incredible shape for the future. You guys need to chill out and enjoy the growth. And then there is Jalen, KPJ, Eason, and Sengun. What an incredible re-build and after this year 80m in cap space and loads of picks.
I don't even agree with most of that criticism. Funny that almost every other player on the summer league roster was a huge ball hog and the few times Bari tries to make a move he gets lit up for it. He's in a can't win position. Can't please the people saying he's too passive, can't please the people saying he's missing better opportunities to dish the rock.
I agree that the jump shot will come but its the body language and I'm forcing bad shots that gives me pause. It seems to me he has a bit of rabbit ears and tried to prove everybody wrong about his weaknesses, the open shots he missed don't bother me but that he then tried to force things and got worse is what bothers me. I know I am going to get **** for this but whatever I am worried about is he a player that gets in his head too much and has a bit of a confidence issue, that would explain why he seems allergic to dribbling more than twice when he has pressure and him trying to force things. I'm sure he will do much better when he knows where his shots are coming from and the team starts creating open looks but everything I was worried about with him manifested himself in summer league he is a high end role player. I have been very impressed with the defense that's better than advertised but anyone that being truthful with themselves has to be disappointed with his overall play in the SL, his overall game just looks so mechanical and he just does not look confident.
Jabari's shooting flat in summer league, is it because of fatigue or further 3pt line? Because when I watch his Auburn videos, his shot have a much higher arch.
