Nets were relentless with the hit pieces after Harden left just imagine what we’re about to learn about Kyrie’s crazy ass also interested in what info they release about KD
Nah, unless they somehow nab a young stud (not likely) I'd guess their main objective would be to recoup as many draft picks as possible to aid in a rebuild from ground up. So even if the get a few capable vets in return I wouldn't be surprised to see them sold off for more draft capital in short order.
Huge opportunity for the Rockets to be predatory here. Nets completely bent over with none of their future picks. We should compromise and take our prize today and give them their future back. To Suns Durant To Rockets Mikal Bridges Convert 2023 Nets pick from a swap to outright right to the pick To Nets Brown Burke Holiday Nwaba Crowder All remaining Nets picks returned (maybe not one of the later ones stays with the Rockets) Draft capital from the Suns KPJ / TyTy / Nix Green / Christopher / Bird Bridges / Eason / Tate Jabari / Garuba / KMJ Sengun / Boban + 3 unprotected picks in this loaded draft.
could you convert the swap into a pick? - wouldn't that violate the "2 1st round picks in a row" prohibition?
Harden you magnificent b*stard! Went somewhere the Rockets get picks and not pieces. Implodes that team. Goes to Philly to re-form the Rockets. He imploded Brooklyn so bad KD wants to leave. He wants Tucker and EG. More pick(s) for EG. Better picks from Brooklyn. Comes back in 3 years as the 7th man and a Rockets Championship. He had this all planned from the beginning...or something.
This is definitely not a playoff team. Just big names that don’t fit well together on the court. Their 3 core guys all struggle with staying motivated to play basketball in general. Simmons and Kyrie will miss 20-30 games each. Neither has been able to stay on the court over the past 3 season. What eastern team are they beating for a playoff spot?
On a side note has there ever been a more weak minded elite player than KD? This would be the 2nd time he's packed up and decided to join the best team in the league. That's pretty insane to think about.
