I think Nembhard may be able to stick around the NBA for a long time just because he’s so smart and should be able to run an offense effectively and he’s got some good offensive stuff. If we didn’t have a glut of guards I wouldn’t mind picking up a second round pick and having him develop in the g league. I always liked watching him when I caught zag games.
Yea I just don't get... Why put that target on yourself. I remember when Giannis won the MVP and he is like "I'm still not the best player in the world I have a lot to work on" I think he claim Lebron was still the best player.
I wouldn’t be mad getting Chandler at 17. I really believe this team could use a true PG that can set up the offense, pass to the post, defend and hit threes. He wouldn’t be my first choice here (that would be Eason or Williams) but I would be happy with him.
I got curious and asked Magic fans...if you take Chet, who on your team is taking shots? Who is the scorer in this scenario? The answer? Markelle Fultz and Cole Anthony. I know we're all happy with the 3rd pick this year but holy hell did we get lucky last year.
I remember a few casuals on here calling Nembhard trash because he had a bad game in the tournament, totally disregarding his body of work with the Zags. He will eventually be a good rotation piece for someone.
I just read a Cleveland article saying they were interested in him, but you have to question half the stuff you read as being true, false, or intentional leaks, so ...
He has gone from late first round to top 10 prospect already. To hit top 5 wouldn't surprise. He has a long way to go, but his combine measurements were fantastic - both size and athleticism better than expected. He can legitimately play as a primary initiator 6'8 forward in the NBA in the future, who is already a wonderful defender. It is kind of the gold standard
lol casual? not sure what your affiliation with nembhard is to get offended back then and now, with what was absolutely a true statement - he was a trash pg in that tournament game and had always been more of a pg looking for his own all season long. the casual is someone who takes way too much stock into one draft combine scrimmage and instantly ignores all of the player's flaws from game tape all season.
