This is going to be interesting. There may be a chance for the Rockets to move up to #1 in this draft. IF the Thunder want someone that the Magic don't want, the Rockets may be able to move up. I can't see Chet falling to #3, but I could see a situation where the Magic want Smith or Paolo, and the Rockets move up to #1 to get who they want, and the Magic still get the player they want at #3.... the cost would be interesting, the NETS pick? If Holmgren falls to #2, do the Rockets offer to remove all protections for the Thunder picks to get him? It's really going to be very interesting. I like Holmgren, Smith and Banchero but I really question the fit for Banchero.
I can't believe it TBH, some random guy on Twitter a few weeks back said stone loves Hooper and is from Seattle and wants Banchero.. I thought he was full of it.. but the way stone was reacting makes me think he is an extremely easy man to read.
Better than Gonzaga (Few) or Auburn (Pearl) track record. Much better. Don't get me started on guards from Purdue... They should just to stick to engineering.
The only dudes who are pissed are the Anti Tanking group who ironically hate tanking but are also flipping out the Rox didnt get the no 1 pick.
Not going to lie, Chet Holmgren and Josh Giddey are going to look amazing together. OKC should try to bring Popovich over. Curious how long the Thunder stay in OKC.
If Chet and Smith are taken, I wouldn’t mind trading down. Paolo is nice and all, but I would love to draft a two way player for a change.
Bam got long wingspan and great motor. Banchero wingspan isn't that long and he doesn't move as quick as Bam.
Paulo Banchero has a LOW WAIST build. This results in reduced athleticism and lowers his NBA ceiling dramatically. I'm looking at Keegan Murray or Bennedict Mathurin at #3.
Poku is awful though. He shouldn't determine anything for them besides deterring them from drafting another lanky string bean.
