I'm not a professional scout. I don't care about who is a name now, i care about the end result...

So if the draft a reach after trading back and pick a guy who fits at 8 instead of 12 or 15 i don't care if the guy produces...

Ivey and Chet both address positions that have been addressed. I'm concerned with the 3 and 4 more than the 1, 2, or 5.

If the best player on the board was a 2 and you had a 4 graded a little lower, you would trade back right?

Ivey is a great defender but outside of that i don't see him adding much more to what we have. I would still take him because worst case he's your Marcus Smart or Pat Beverley... but I would move back if i saw a 3 or 4 i liked almost as much...

Just trying to balance need and value. Doubling up positions reduces risk of a bust; but it also means you're taking more time and picks to rebuild...

I think that's more likely given body sizes and footwork. I think chet has a better chance on the perimeter in iso. I just don't know how much he was asked to do that at gonzaga. I'm not pretending to have watched a lot of film on him...

What the Rockets need to do this off season is trade KPJ, Eric Gordon, John Wall, and Christian Wood. The Rockets need to rebuild their roster.

What's the need to unload KPJ? 21 is too old?

21 is fine, but he'll be 22 next year.

It would be incredible. And I agree. I think he's a 4 in the NBA with the ability to play Gobert like help defense. He's so quick. He can shoot 3's. He is too skinny to match up with the Jokic's and Embiid's of the world, but if we have a more solid center he can just help off of, that's pretty sick. Chet is my top choice, but just like every year, I'll root for whoever the Rockets pick to succeed and pray that they're smarter than me. However, I think after the success of Hartenstein and Christopher we can all acknowledge that I am one of the premier talent evaluators in the universe.

So you're basing his production on his age but not knowing his production at that age yet?

    Weird...

And the year after that he'll be 23.

Green is less than 2 years younger, but I hate to tell ya, he will age every year too.

Green is currently 20 and Porter is currently 21.

But the timeline doesn't fit amirite?

Derrick Jones jr might be had with the Mid Level? Would a 3 year deal be worth it?. Hes not a bad player, seen some clips

Maybe worth signing to start at the Small Foward job. If i was Stone i would be on the phone for him asap. Lot of exp for 25 year old.

Or you could trade Gordon in pack with nets pick

Yet i doubt they would trade Patrick unless your offering them a **** load of draft picks lol

So who is defending high screen and rolls off the opposing 5? Chet too skinny and sengun too slow and short arms. Very problematic combo and Im sorry as much as many of you love Sengun including myself neither him or Chet is what this team needs. The paint would still be open all day for opponents. Now if u say Chet plus a capable long big with defensive paint presence then ok I don’t like it but can accept that equation more than the oddly inferior combo of Sengun and Chet.
