Jalen exhibits GOAT mentality. https://rocketswire.usatoday.com/20...-in-houston-focused-on-next-step-for-rockets/
What a great way to enter the season. Green joins the rankings probably due to his crazy run to finish the season. He was not on this list in January of this year. On Green: 1 Luka 2 Tatum 3 Morant 4 Mobley 5 Ant Edwards 6 Zion 7 Scottie Barnes 8 Lamelo 9 Trae 10 Garland 11 Cade 12 Jalen Green 13a SGA 13b Haliburton https://hoopshype.com/lists/nba-pol...-tatum-ja-morant-zion-williamson-lamelo-ball/ He'll be top 4 by the end of this season (Luka and Tatum will be over 25 yrs old at that point). I find it outright disrespectful to rank him below Garland, Trae, Lamelo and Mobley none of whom I would trade Green for without receiving additional picks in return. Edwards may be relevant on the court, but part of being a franchise player is being the face of your team. He is OUT of that race for at least a few years due to his opinions. Chapter 4 looming.
Unfair to put him at #4. The argument is based around Mobley being an elite defensive anchor when he spent most of his rookie season on the floor with a defensive anchor. He never exhibited that. His offense is worrisome without a 3pt shot. Meanwhile, our boy exhibited that he is a Kobe in the making. Are you picking a Chris Bosh over a Kobe because he can rebound and play better defense? lol No way.
for 19 years old in a lot of this video he looks phenomenal. It's too hard for me to tell where the top 4 players in this draft are heading. I think Jabari and Paolo are both right there will all of them as well.
All 19 year olds look phenomenal if they got to the point of having an NBA highlight video. The ranking is putting him there on the hunch that he'll be an elite defensive anchor. He's never done that. He's not on the list for what's in these highlights, because what these highlights show is a guy with better handles than expected, very good scorer, 0 range.
