has the team with the worst record ever gotten the #1pick in the current "lottery" system? don't the league office b1tches aim to punish the biggest tankers this way?
I was griping about near-pointless lottery babble, so the basketball gods cursed me with a bunch of zombie "Rockets fans" accounts bumping Harden threads. I have sinned and must repent somehow. The "current" lottery system has only been around for 3 years. lol. Well, using the most-recent probabilities, I mean. I know from 2015-2018, the team with the worst record got the #1 pick. I think since 2010, the team with the worst record has gotten a top-2 pick every year except 2. But again, lottery probabilities were weighted way higher for tankers back in those days and the probability of getting a top-3 pick was higher. Just a few years ago, the odds of getting a top-2 pick were probably higher than the odds of getting a top-3 pick in the current system's draft.
Pretty crazy to think that “losing” in this situation would be adding a young guard that has DWade/Morant type of potential talent. I also feel like even if it’s not a natural fit next to Green I think at the least Green is capable of developing into running the point at least as capable as KPJ did this year. I’m really not worried at all if the pick is Ivy or Sharpe.
Idk I think ppl are really underestimate Ivey. I know the fit isnt perfect but who gaf about fit at this point
This is a debate about Young Sheldon Shart. Is he worthy or.... Canadian? I mean I read this guy has 'jump out of the gym' athletic ability. News flash - you can't influence the game if you've jumped out of the gym, dummies
Am I crazy to think that 1 of the "big 3" will fall to the 5th spot? Most people think Ivey is the most sure thing of them all. A few think Murray is. Sharpe is a complete wild card. I can see a scenario where either Paolo, due to questions about his D or Chet with the potential frame issues drops to 5. Either way I think we will have a shot at one of the big three. No reason not to be optimistic.
A top three lottery pick for the Rockets would mean mission accomplished. All the losing to end up with a 5th pick would sting!
KPJ has a slightly better entry pass, but he takes time to break down the defense, before he can do that. Jalen runs the P/R better imo. Green has near future superstar scoring potential, because he is a much better finisher at the basket than anyone else on the team. Green must be remain our SG. I'm starting to believe that KPJ can play the 3. His C/S three point shot is so good, and his stepback 3 is the best on the team. Silas really needs to pick up his game and prove that he is worthy of a head coach position. A defensive schemer like coach JB is missing. I really appreciate coach Lucas for player development. What has the ex- Utah Jazz guy, JH been hired for? Is Silas holding him back, or is he just wasting our time? I feel he might be the " Trojan Horse" on the bench. @Nook
