Unless he gets hurt, if the Texans have the worst record in the league next year Mills is most assuredly not the guy.
If we have 4 wins and end up with 1st pick, and he has 4K yds on 67% with 25/10 TDs/int and made some plays. He’s the guy. There’s more than just wins to evaluate. This team is coming around but still needs more talent all around. Either way it goes, we should know if Mills is the guy. Wins shouldn’t be a big factor.
If Bryce was 6’3 and not 5’11 I would be all over him-if Mills isn’t the guy. Bryce gives me Tua vibes. Great college QB, not so much in the NFL. There’s really not any difference from a tools standpoint between Mills and Bryce or Stroud. Mills is probably all around more physically gifted than either.
1. Deshaun gets suspended for 16 game and the Browns go 1-16 2. Mills turns into a stud 3. A bidding war starts for the #1 pick because everyone wants Young 4. Atlanta gives up the number 2 pick plus 2 more 1st rounders for the #1 pick to get Young 5. Texans get Will Anderson and still have a pile of draft picks Time to get greedy...
I’m actually higher on Young than I am Stroud. Bryce arm talent is legit. But from a talent perspective I don’t really see either being that different than Mills
I have no idea if Mills is the guy or not. Like said above, not sure Young would be the guy either. I would love to take Will Anderson, seems to be our biggest need at this point. TE, #1Wr and higher end RB would all be at the top of my wish list next year. Love seeing Antonio Johnson in the top 10.
There will be no Will Anderson, CJ Stroud or Bryce Young on the Texans next season. The Texans are going to win at least 7 games in 2022. 3 wins in the division, 1 win against the AFC West, 2 wins against the NFC East and the will win 2/3 against the Bears, Browns and Dolphins.
They would win more than one game with their back up. That team is loaded. Brisset can get them 7 wins. Baker is still on the roster too.
True, if Mills has a solid year and the Texans finish with the worst record in football, it's time to look for new coaches and GM's, not QBs.
We will have to see how the year plays out, it’s really just going into year two of a rebuild. The AFC is stacked so there might not be many wins built into the schedule. If they’re competitive and show improvement, specifically with the youth, then I can see another year.
After the Deshaun disaster - this organization needs a break from QBs like young would rather go with more conventional trustworthy QBs for a while
Read between the lines Bryce Young isn’t the right type of QB for this city after Deshaun raped our women and demanded out
What does Deshaun off the field issues have to do with Bryce? Not sure if you’re serious. All qbs that look like Deshaun are the same? Explain plz
