Akeem wasn't taking any s*** back in the day lol...

Later he was like the heavyweight champ who didn't have to prove anything, shrugging little men off like flies.

Akeem was about that life man. The league is fortunate that Olajuwon found peace with religion.

Aah you don't mess with Akeem

Anyone crazy enough to slap Vernon Maxwell at halftime in the
locker room for spitting isn't based in reality.

You have to sleep with one eye open on the plane, Mad Max....he's a killer.

Akeem was like, uhh, we had Lions growing up

More evidence that he was the most versatile big man ever. Shoots right handed, but Shasky and Cage both got the left.

Super heavyweight that moved like a gazelle and had a temper shorter than Murph. Kinda wonder why people even tried.

My faves were vs Mitch Kupchak/Lakers in the 86 WCF and vs Houston legend Billy "The Whopper" Paultz when he played for the Jazz in the 85 playoffs. Teams were always trying to goon it up with Olajuwon in the early days b/c he had a short fuse.

Holy crap! I’ve never seen the actual game coverage just the clip of the punch. I figured he was ejected immediately after. Didn’t know nobody even saw it at first lol

If we draft Chet we definitely need an enforcer like OT next to him :D
