Epic 10 year necro bump.. Has cyber said anything lately or is he still partying from the Covid title of the lakers
Once person posts a highlight video or favorable review of a D-level player, it's on! That's how Clutchfans gets its kicks.
What exactly does it mean for players to be part of the lollipop guild? (But seriously I think this is the problem with a Lillard-McCollum back court)
I don't think this applies to KPJ and Green, actually I think it's the exact opposite. Lillard-McCollum are small, so is Sexton. KPJ and Green are 6'5 and 6'6, respectively, which is what you dream of in a backcourt. Mind you, both are young and need improvement defensively but that comes with time.
Defense has little to do with height, it's more about want to. Length is better indicator of defensive success than height.
Idk how to feel about supes. He seems to be validated over there but I can’t think of a single thing he got right in the last year I’ve been reading him. Hell in the last week he stated reddish wouldn’t get traded cause his value is too high. Insider game is crazy I’m sure and I read it more for entertainment. At this point it’s hard to gauge how accurate the reports are.
I would think a team like Utah or Charlotte would enter the chat for Gordon. His defense is better than Ingles or Bogdanovic. The Hornets have one of the worst defenses in the league. Even an average defender like Gordon would be a huge improvement over what Hayward and Bridges have been given them this year.
The interest from teams for Gallo, I believe, has less to do with him as a contributor and more to do with his next season 21M only being 5M guaranteed. The ability to buy that out after this season and clear 16M in cap space is attractive. Gallo at 21M ends up being a good salary match with Gordon, though I'm not in love with the protections on the Charlotte first they just received. A top-18 protection seems very high, and I'm not sure it'll convey this year. The hornets are improving however, and I could see it conveying next year when it's top-16, or latest the year after when it drops to top-14. But that would mean a single pick 2, maybe 3 years out for Gordon. Not sure that'll move the needle for the FO just to cut 14M in roster salary, and I'm pretty sure they can get that with other trades, but you never know and I wouldn't be surprised if that deal went forward.
This Hawks guy throws a lot of stuff on the wall, has he ever been completely correct on a trade? maybe 1 out of 50?
Interesting about Gallo. If Atl wants to give us a significant asset and Gallo for Eric Gordon let’s get this done!!!
Gallo does not make sense unless you want to make a run at the Play In. He is 1 year older than Eric Gordon. Was the original plan one or two picks?
