They’ll 100% pick it up for the streaming service. Spoiler And Dexter will return in the Harry/Deb role
Those guys should get their own show. Joey Quinn was the standard womanizer. Would not mind Batista. She is getting a shet show in Iron Lake.
I didn't mind the conclusion. The way they got there is annoying though. They had to retcon the drug he used in Miami after pointing out that he had to use a new one this very season so they could have some way of connecting him to the Bay Harbor Butcher. Sloppy.
The last episode felt too rushed to wrap everything up. The series should've been 12 episodes like every other season of Dexter.
Mixed feelings about this season. While on one hand the situation with Kurt was good, on the other hand the whole takedown of Dexter mainly happened through a series of coincidences and Dexter being dumb. There just so happens to be a cop convention at the hotel where I'm investigating a missing person/murder and I happen to meet Dexter's old best friend!
I liked it a good bit. It wasn't anything really special, but it certainly was a redemption for the series compared to how Season 8 ended. It was fun and fast paced and reminiscent of the prime Dexter seasons. Far faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar better way to bring back a piece of property than the Matrix Resurrections did.
Also, this better be the end of the show. Spoiler Nobody wants to watch a Harrison show, even with Dexter as his Dark Passenger.
Absolutely. I just texted a few of my buddies to say "they f***ing fixed Dexter! They fixed the worst ending in TV history!" It wasn't *perfect*, but it finally washed a decade of bad taste out of my mouth. I'm so unexpectedly happy right now. Spoiler I don't want it to come back either, I hope this is the end. Though I admit I'd watch if they did, at least for a little bit to see where it's going. I don't think I'd care for a Harrison spin-off. The one thing I really wish I could've seen that didn't happen, was some aftermath time with his old Miami crew. We got a hint of that with Angel, but my favorite ending for this would've been the trial Angela mooted. Though I admit it would probably be out-of-character for Dexter to let a trial happen. It makes a lot more sense that he'd rather just die.
Spoiler I was a bit down at first because Harrison killing Dexter was the obvious ending from the beginning. After thinking on it a bit more, I wasn't expecting it to be pretty much the happiest ending possible for Dexter. Dexter saying he felt real love for the first time makes it work for me. On another note, but Dexter should have planted the surgical pin in Kurt's stuff when he was breaking into his office or bunker. I know they had to have it in the cabin to make the plot work. I guess you just have to explain it as another example of Dexter being rusty.
I so wanna watch this even if it's not great, I'm glad there seems to be something good about the reboot.
lol, this is perfect! adequately describes my feelings about this revival. Was going along great... and then in the last episode wasnt great thats for sure.
I would have 0 issues with them extending ths Iron Lake/Harrison plotline another 2 years. They did a good job of reviving the some fear/some fun energy. The ending was better than how it was left before but I wish this would have been stretched out over 20-24 episodes. Also would have liked nude scenes from Angela or her daughter.
Kurt Caldwell Spoiler so like 20 young girls keep accepting money and remote underground housing from an old dude running a coffee shop. Also these girls kept disappearing
Dexter Spoiler he just seemed out of character and dumber all of the sudden in the finale. They didn’t have enough evidence that he was the butcher because of some neck marks
