Can always count on many clutchfan posters to be incredibly into the whole strict discipline father thing with little or no second chances. Can I assume they also support the death penalty and huge jail sentences for many many crimes?
It’s absurd, you would think these folks have never made mistakes or needed 2nd chances. The answer when a guy messes up is always ‘get rid of him now’.
Knee jerk Clutchfan would cut KPJ, start Josh Christopher at point AND THEN BE MAD WHEN HE DIDN'T PLAY WELL
HAHAHAHAHAHA “I thought it would be best for our team and culture for him to be suspended for today’s game.” I also thought it would be best for our culture to welcome him back after one game. If he wants to drive off at halftime, that is fine too. “Christian, we had a disagreement about him going into the game.” I wanted him to go in, he didn’t want to go in. Since he didn’t want to go in, I thought it would be best for our team and culture for him to be suspended for today’s game. We will welcome him back next game. If he doesn’t want to check into the game, that is fine too. #4DCulture #4DTeam
Good, You don't want to ruin their trade value by overreacting.. especially Christian Wood's trade value. Let them prove themselves again then sell high at the trade dealine. Porter will certainly be a throw in if he can't get it together. Rockets definitely got him by the balls now. He want the bag the only team that will give it to him is the Rockets but not without some moral clause and demands like seeking counseling.. or something..
no suspension was needed. their punishment should have been to use the royce bang bus for the next 5 games, together. all the while have "time of my life" be playing on an endless loop.
2nd with us, so he should at least get that without being released. Life is largely about redemption.
Chances yes, but acting out without consequences will not motivate you to learn. In real life, you act out at your job, most likely you're gone. I understand high level talent is held to a different set of values, but is KPJ really worth all that? Time will tell but so far, no.
Who was the young player that called out Wood for setting a bad example? Bet it was Tate. Remember harden threw the ball at him because Tate locked his ass up in practice lol
That’s true, consequences are he’s out of 2nd chances with the organization and likely burned any chance of avoiding restricted free agency. obviously if he loses it again you let him walk after this year and give his minutes to other young guys
How does someone coming out to the court and asking what's wrong suddenly imbue one with the power to stand up and walk off?
welp... i'm all about accountability... if we had some over the previous run - we may have gotten a ring during the era... jus sayin....
