KPJ will most likely be with the Rockets. He seems to love the organization but alas Harden also loved the organization.
However KPJ is slowly showing signs of being a great PG and that’s an amazing testament. I’m rooting for him

I am not sure if Stone is as eager to pull the trigger as Morey was but he sure does not leak anything out.

He was holding onto Tuckwagon as long as he could, he is also keeping Gordon and Wall around.

I don't have a psychic, so I don't know. Could be another team.

I think he might be the guy. Listen, shooting will take time and so will scoring. He's 21 years old. His actual third year in the league will be next year. Like all things, you need to give it time.

I’m guessing 6th man role, presuming the team drafts or signs a true pg in free agency.

He'll probably still be starting PG, hopefully by then the Rockets will have drafted or picked up a franchise caliber player to go along with guys like Sengun, KMJ, and KPJ as a solid core for the future.

It all depends on Rockets next move.

KPJ will not be replaced by a rook PG.

So only way he is displaced - moved to 2nd unit PG, moved to wing or traded - will require an acquisition of a clearly better PG.

    Either via trade or FA.

I'm more concerned about his shooting than his PG skills at this point. I hope he develops but it's too early to tell, he is definitely very streaky.

He’s averaging 10 assists and 4 turnovers since Theis got benched. That’s solid, especially when you consider most of his turnovers are lent of the passing variety but moreso in his drives into the paint

his numbers since returning from injury are 15, 10, and 7.

that’s almost a triple double. And 4 turnovers

Green has the potential to be lethal off-ball with the ability to create off the dribble or have the ball in his hands when KPJ sits or as a secondary ball handler. Doesn't need to be all or nothing.

And everyone in the two-big starting lineup played badly, I'm not ready to conclude that Green's issues were caused by a bad fit with KPJ, I think it is far too early for that and there were other factors.

I said he would not be a Rocket by the end of next season, so my vote is another team.

He does look like an NBA player though without Green.

Hopefully coming off the bench and a perennial 6th man of the year candidate.

The lack of structure against a 2nd unit will allow him to thrive.

I don't think anyone knows, even the Rockets. He is one of those guys who has a ton of talent and is worth the time investment trying to help him figure it out. Because of his style, he will likely force us to have to make a tough decision. He needs the ball in his hands and he needs to feel each possession out. He has a playing style like Harden merged with a sprinkle of T-Mac with less athletic ability than T-Mac and less skill than Harden (not an insult at all). Building a whole team around that style will likely mean our future team success will be limited to how well KPJ plays.

If we don't build a team around him (more likely) and he accepts a super bench role in 2 years he could really thrive as one of those guys in the league (Manu, Crawford, etc). It means he is given the keys to the second unit and can really throw a curve ball to how the first unit plays.

I'm certainly rooting for him to succeed and think he can have a really nice NBA career... it's really up to him

I think he still becomes one of our primary ball handlers. He is too good of a scorer to not be looking to score. He's super versatile which is a good thing. His defense has really taken leaps and bounds as well. I do think the rockets make a push for another ball handler to help relieve the pressure off him. I see Green as a 6th man or we trade him. I think we're just starting to scratch the surface of the Scoot's potential.

#Flexability. He has a friendly team option for next season so he could be a nice "asset" but he may also improve with the vast playing time.

I picked "another team", but he could very well be here for a team friendly deal or simply improve enough to justify a big contract. Being more of a point guard or two way guard than a traditional scoring combo guard is the key to his own future, otherwise he'll have lots of competition with the abundance of combo guards.

Abstain for now . He’s been super up and down this year . Right now we have green and kpj and Christopher as guards we’d like to develop . Maybe we pick up a couple more and/ maybe we trade for one ... but if KPJ is the best or second best he will start . And regardless of who does what USG% he can be called PG

just like Russel was called pg . Whatever

Obviously everyone, KPJ, Silas and Stone included, would be making a guess answering this question. My hope is that he is the starting pg for the Rockets as that would make his acquisition a gigantic win for this rebuild. I dont think he will ever be a true pg in the Chris Paul/Magic Johnson/John Stockton mold but I dont think he has to be. The 5 out offense has pretty simple reads and I think KPJ is already capable of making those. I am hoping for him to reach a point where he is a capable 2nd best player on a good team or a really good third wheel on a contender.
