it seems to me though, that really, there is only one game this year that matters now. And that is beating Cincinnati. The Bowl game will probably be a pee pee game regardless. We've clinched our superbowl as long as Cincy shows up to the Zoo.
Autobid bid for a New Years Six game? Big Deal..not. Well, I guess that's better than the Armed Forces Bowl....lol.
Yeah, I'm not sure how you can scoff at a Peach Bowl vs. a top 15 team instead of a Birmingham or Frisco Bowl against a 7 win team.
I usually agree with you, but if UH loses to Memphis and SMU beats Cincinnati, then the luster of the championship has been diminished. A championship is still a championship but I don't think a major bowl is a prize. Best case scenario, Coogs and Bearcats both win and UH wins the Championship. I think there is a "chance" for a major bowl.
Then what is your goal? Winning a conference championship and getting an NY6 bid are basically the pinnacle of achievement for the football program's situation as currently constituted. I don't really care how either happens.
I didn't mean what you thought I meant. What I was saying if UH and UC both lose before the championship game, I don't think the winner of that game goes to a major bowl. On the other hand if UH and UC both win Friday and Saturday, the victor of the championship should be in line for a major bowl.
Man Tune has progressed so well. Going through his progressions in the pocket. Smart kid, strong runner
