yeah that's true. I get the structure aspect. SG's can't learn their role if the PG, SF, PF, and C's don't play their role correctly either. just hoping he's NG or team option for the same year wall comes off the books.
because the dude was a sieve on defense. I remember games he was getting destroyed in the post, so they switched Tate unto his man.
I wouldnt mind keeping him tbh 8M for a backup big isnt bad. And yes I believe he is a TO for 4rth year.
You may want to call Mrs Brown (your math teacher from the 2nd grade) to reconfirm that 3 is less than 4.
This signing is irrelevant… The biggest question mark of the upcoming season is…. What the hell to do with Wall, Gordon, and even Augustine.. Sucks having a rebuilding team Paying John Wall 40+million a year and also paying Gordon…
Didn't see the 4th year option, thanks! But nah, no trolling, I'm 100% into the Rockets losing and Theis is a good defender who is terrible on offense, both the eye test and +/- stats
Given a contender just traded him away and he'll be older in a couple of years I have my doubts on that one. However, a flexible, non-guaranteed salary that is a decent chunk could be useful at some point, so I'm growing more and more comfortable with the contract even if I don't want him to get many minutes with us.
3 year deal plus 4th year team option, good. Plays more above the rim than Tucker and is a good defender.
Still better than having Westbrook on the team. Nothing would stunt the growth of Wood, Green, and KPJ more. Wall will be on IR before January and just dead salary. If they can trade him great but not worth dumping assets to move him. It’s just the reality of the sh$t show trade that was the CP3 for Westbrick trade.
at least we arent paying him Ryan Anderson money. I've just taken a first look at his highlights, seems like solid depth , if currently unspectacular. His athleticism and wingspan look nice. He's got some sand in his pants too and looks real sturdy ... 4 - 36 ain't bad. Presumably last year is option , i think that's what i saw ( even if not , its not bad ) not that im advocating for it at this point, but he does give us the ability to trade wood if we get a great offer. ( in the sense that we wont be having to sign 10-day contracts to get bodies) while im at it, i like nwaba 3-15 too . He looked very athletic coming off Achilles and i think given another year ( wall too ) his physical health will continue to improve.
Stone is putting together a quality group of guys. This gives Woods a solid veteran counterpart. And when the young guys are ready to take over, make moves/trades accordingly. 2021/22 Rockets aren’t gonna suck, not on papers.
