Setting it at 15. Lots to consider... A few items for starters. EG and Wall are gonna get minutes until they're dealt. I'm assuming he averages 24-27 MPG. He's only 19. His body will, of course grow into being able to take the pounding, but at first it's going to be a doozy. Kobe put up 15.4 in 26MPG at the same age. Of course, he did that on a damn good team.
14-15 is about what I expect for his first season. I don’t expect Wall to play more than 30 games. I also expect EG to come off the bench. Should be plenty of minutes for him.
Green will get all the minutes he can handle and should start at the 2 from day 1. Wall will likely start unfortunately with KPJ/Gordon off the bench. KPJ will also get starts when Wall is on the b2b rest days which I assume will continue. I’d say 16-18 ppg.
I'll say over, but it will depend on his development and all around play. but looking at film one of the first comps I saw was Ja Morant like speed but taller, with a better shot and less passing offensively, and Ja translated beautifully in the league. I think he might have a breakout game when his shot is on and then he will start to show more flashes moving towards consistency. You have to temper expectations for a young rookie, give him years to develop. But looking at his film for example in the playoffs, when he decided to turn it on, no one could stay in front of him or really guard him, and he's very competitve on tape.
KPjr HAS to start IMO. He cannot be blocked by JW. Scoot needs serious minutes up top. I think Wall will get more of his minutes at the expense of the other guys....including Jalen.
Green is coming in as the face of the franchise and will be given free reign on offense imo. I'll take over on 20 ppg.
The dude looks to score. He's going to score alot. Like i said even with wall this team might be a dark horse to take a dump on the west. Especially now that the Lakers picked up Westbrook.
