Green is going to be so fun. You guys have no idea how much of a different style he is going to bring. Always cutting off ball. He is literally the perfect guard to pair with Harden and something I was hoping for the past eight years. It's too bad they couldn't be here together. He's also incredibly loved and if he pans out will be a favorite of the NBA marketing team.
I don't think that's in the cards but I'd be thrilled for him to leave Brooklyn after next year regardless if it's to return or go elsewhere.
He's cool with Ja which is interesting. In the world of 'super friends' these relationships do matter later down the road...hopefully not in the "Hey Ja lets team up and go play for the Knicks" kind of matter though.
Keep that same energy next year when you actually get to watch a full game of his for the first time in your life and wondering why he looks no different than any guard off the heap.
Even when he says that he's the best player in the draft, he doesn't sound arrogant. He doesn't seem like a type of guy who would talk big but not back it up.
Especially if Porter starts having issues I’m pretty sure with all our draft picks we will have a lot of young talented players still on rookie deals in a couple years. Once we clear the books and KPJ/Green work out, I think we will be a very attractive free agent destination with lots of cash to blow in 2-3 years
IF KPJ and Jalen flourish and excel as most hope that is going to be very enticing for Jokic or Embiid when they become FAs in 2023.
I missed you man. Glad to have you back. I was reading NikeTalk a few years ago and saw you on there and was happy to see you somewhere.
