For whatever reason, they (Pacers) do not Sabonis and Turner together. I think IND just wants to make the playoffs.
There are 2 possibilities that seem more likely than others with this: 1) Detroit has said they may swap #1 for #2 if we can get another lottery pick. We are waiting for them to make a decision. or 2) There's someone we are targeting at the end of the lottery, and if he's still available at #13, we will make the deal.
2nd scenario is more likely unless Rockets are really afraid they won’t get Green. However, I don’t see the Pacers moving Turner and a lottery pick for Gordon and whatever the Hornets offer. Definitely not their lottery pick would they?
Houston really got to the end telling the Pistons "You can only get Jalen Green through us. Period." That's why you don't let **** leak when you're enamored with a prospect. It's why the Rockets have been super mum on Mobley. All of this stuff as been a smokescreen and played way better on behalf of the Rockets than by the Pistons.
Bro it is even more nuts when you have actual assets to play with!!! Before all we could dangle was a couple of 2nd round picks and future, likely low, protected 1st rounders. Tomorrow is going to be a fun time.
hypothetical... #23/#24/Gordon/House/Wizards pick/Pistons pick to Indiana Turner to Charlotte #11/#13/Lamb and filler to Houston. #2 Green #11 Sengun #13 Garuba
Yeah, and Carlisle probably likes a veteran who can actually play defense when it matters like Gordon over a kid who just likes to chuck up bad shots. Can't disagree with him, if i had to coach a team i'd take Gordon over Kuzma anyday. Pacers also have Warren on the roster and he's pretty much Kuzma but better and cheaper so...
kuzma is fuking trash if he ever wears a rockets jersey this forum will be exhausted from my constant complaining
If this trade goes down...I think they combine the #13/#23/#24 to get into the Top 6. Maybe OKC, ORL or CLE? Two picks in the Top 6 in this year's draft would expedite the rebuild.
Great point! All the pressure really is on Detroit with the #1 pick. I think they are sold on Cade from everything that I have read but I think they're just playing their hand the best way they can. Rather Detroit leaked any information or not I'm not sure but Cade was the consensus #1 pick for months now. It would be a huge story at this point if they didn't draft Cade at this point.
That's way too optimistic. I think it's 13 to Hou Gordon 11 to Ind Turner 23 to Cha Sounds like a win win win to me
I'm right there with you. We'll blow this place up lol Kuzma might be the most overrated player of all time. He's the same age as Giannis and Jokic already.
I think you boths gots its wrongs Turner to Char Gordon, #11, #23, #24 to Pacers #13 to Houston That would still be very optimistic on Houston's end, IMO. They'd probably want an additional late projected Nets 1st or something.
