This is true. Harden did face rougher competition with the Warriors. But he also failed against weak competition such as Lillard's Blazers and a Kawhiless Spurs. And on top of that he has had some absolutely memorable in a bad way close out games with like record breaking amount of turnovers and missed shots. And on top of that he has a history of being kept out of possessions in closing minutes of tight games in the playoffs because he stands still and can't free himself so he looks ultra passive when his team needs him the most.
He will also be considered a top 5 offensive player of all-time most likely, so maybe you should spend more time celebrating the fact one of the greatest offensive minds to ever lace up his sneakers played for our franchise.
Happy for PJ. Devastated for Paul. And you can't really do anything but tip your cap to Giannis. Dude had an all-time performance tonight; he's already nearing all-time top 25 level, and he's only 26. Could he be an all-time top 10 guy in 8-10 years if he keeps this up and adds another ring or two to his resume? I wouldn't rule it out.
Hate to see CP3 not get his but props to Milwaukee and Giannis. Easily the most impressive finals victory since the first Golden State win with Curry. Goes to show you don't need to build a super team to win it all.
Stupid thread, he certainly doesn't "own" Harden But credit to Giannis, he took it to another level this playoffs, best he has ever played. The whole bucks team stepped up big. Middleton and Holliday took on more responsibility and thrived. Middleton especially, never knew he could play point forward like that. All of em mentally tougher than the suns.
Giannis won by not trying to game the system and draw fouls he just plays hard. Big respect for that. DD
If he becomes a solid shooter and wins another ring or two I can see top 15. Top 10 is really hard to break into.
He sure is one of the best offensive players ever. Right now he is in Charles Barkley territory, or CP3, he really needs a ring - they will be the favorites next year too. DD
Maybe something went over my head but are you trying to equate what T-Mac did on the Rockets to what Harden did? Because if that's the case I have to assume you simply didn't turn your TV on in the last 10 years.
Hmm, the person who stays level-headed when the person who carries the team fails or leaves has issues. The one who constantly criticizes the only bright spot on our roster for a decade definitely doesn't have any issues. It's sad that I come on this forum once a year and I still recognize your name as a Harden hater from half a decade ago.
The bright spots I remember in the playoffs most of the time don't include Harden. He has done well in some games, shat the bed in others, his team carried him in some
