    Ten runs scored and 15 strikeouts.

    That’s good right?

    Although it was the Orioles, I hope this gives Odorizzi more confidence. Although I think he's been decent the last 2 games prior to tonight.

    Lawsuits. Lawsuits are why he's still around.

    Sure, he's not meant to be a starter. Lots of young players get exposed after an early hot streak, Tyler White, anyone?

    Last month or so, Straw went up, Chas went down.

    He's a great bench OF, Tucker's back soon, and that's all the Stros need him to be.

    So honest question, should dusty have put in Pressly or someone other than bielak to preserve the no hitter? Figure it would've been really cool for Odorizzi and Javier to be part of a combined no-hitter. I guess with the tight race with the A's, probably doesn't make sense to do it, but still would have been cool.

    James = hurt and starting rehab assignment this week
    Paredes = hurt and can't throw strikes
    Scrubb = can't throw strikes unless he hangs a curveball
    Baez = doesn't exist
    Pruitt = hurt and can't get A ball hitters out in his rehab assignment
    Abreu = hurt but starting rehab assignment this week
    Emanuel = hurt and out for year
    Ivey = hurt after hiding an injury and out for year
    Martes = can't throw strikes in AAA... walked 4 tonight in one inning and has an era over 20.00
    Rodriguez = meh
    Solis = hurt
    Solomon = struggle is real for him in AAA... 6.60 ERA
    Whitley = TJ surgery
    Smith = hurt and sucks
    Verlander = hurt

    That's all the other pitchers on the 40 man roster that aren't on the MLB 26 man roster

    Kind of aggravating that the HR happened when the guy should have been out already. Even still, it would have been an extremely strange meh no hitter even it we finished it off.

    Ultimately, we won, A's lost, and our closer got some rest.

    I see my prediction is 100% accurate so far about never losing another game this year. Good to see. @The Drake

    What is the plan with the starting pitchers? Or have they even announced it?

    It seems like we are rolling 6-man right now, but maybe that's temporary bc of the 20 games in a row

    I suspect they expect the situation to resolve itself through injury or ineffectiveness. But right now it appears no one is taking themselves out of the rotation.

    This presents some interesting possibilities. Perhaps with the extra rest from a seven man rotation, the Starters become the long relievers as well rather than tandem starters. There are usually throwing sessions between starts at 80% anyway. Can they ramp them up to relieve? With a seven man rotation, there are always three pitchers with a day of rest after throwing and at least a day before their next start. I don't see Dusty being the innovative type, but he did go to the six man rotation. which I wanted, but didn't expect him to do.

    What happens when the IL relievers are ready? It's the difficult decisions you love.

    He's got to have evidence in his safe or something. He's never been a good umpire and yet he's got a long career going.
