We're on the same page all the way around here. I remember thinking it was time for a change.... but when I saw that change was WB, I was like w t f??? I tried to justify and defend it lightly to make myself feel better, I'm an optimist, but we needed a clutch floor leader, not a high numbers wildcard. That was a terrible gamble, and then WB flipped for Wall..... who is an injury riddled risk as well that I trust only slightly more than WB, but still wasn't really a floor general or leader presence. I'd root for PHX too.... f the superduperteam, and Harden left the wrong way, so I'd want CP3 to get his ring, and while eventually I want Harden to get his deserved title, I would be especially upset if he got one his 1st year away. I wish I felt differently, our ownership sucks, but both sides failed each other and us.
I said this earlier this will most likely happen. The best two playmakers in the nba will duke it out for all the marbles on the biggest stage. The Suns look like the best two way team in the league as they are an amazing defensive lineup but they also are a very efficient offensive team. A true reflection of Paul Nets are the best offensive team of all time with three of the top 5 offensive players in the world. If the Nets can replicate the defense they have shown so far in the playoffs I fear it will be a short series even as great as the Suns are playing
Eh, I stopped following the NBA once the Rockets traded Harden to the Nets. I could care less about who wins now, I'm more interested in the NBA draft and how the Rockets will hopefully recover and also how terrible the Texans are going to be when Watson sits out this entire season, we end up trading him for peanuts after he's literally worth nothing. I mean I guess there's still...
Utah is the only PO team top 5 in defense and offense during the regular season. Just throwing that out there for what it's worth
I wouldn’t call him an idiot for that. They clicked mid season. Covid really hurt Westbrook. And he played unhealthy in the bubble
I will always. No they didn’t. Covid is one of the lamest excuses. Westbrick sucked from day 1 and was a terrible fit. People try to use all these gimmicks when convenient when it’s plain and simple. He has sucked for years and never was a fit here
... i'll be cheering my butt of for CP! I hope Hard-on becomes homeless... he's already got the beard for it...
If it's CP3 and Harden in the finals, then good for them. Really rooting for Harden more than anything. I don't even care about the Brooklyn picks - as long as we have an incompetent owner, those picks mean squat.
Understood, but tell that to the stat people that bring up teams that win championships are in top 10 in defense during the regular season......and then bring up the teams in the last 20 years that back it up.
Just imagine if they were on the same team! Shout out to everybody that said CP3 was washed a year or two ago... Prime example of how the narcissism and megalomania destroyed this franchise... From Harden being a diva and getting all bent for criticism that CP3 had to get moved... To DM and MDA who created the atmosphere that enabled such behavior... To TF who ultimately pulled the trigger on a crap deal... People can jerk it on the greatness of Blames Hard-on's time in Houston... i lament the missed opportunities because the org was too busy placating his narcissism - and trying to win on the cheap.... ...smh...
CP3 Should have played better 2019 and we wouldn't be having this conversation. It's partly his fault too for not taking care of his body in 2017-2018 as well, causing us to lose championship. Maybe should have went on that "vegan juicy juice diet" earlier
