This bearded baby needs to go. Vote him out! He distorts the truth, and is a rude, disrespectful, Trump coddling weasel of a man.
Should be fun with the yearly 500/1000 yr flood events https://abc13.com/hurricane-harvey-flood-aid-harris-county-houston/10669614/
Sounds like a political move to me. Screw those Democratic cities in Texas! So, even though the City of Houston and Harris county accounted for over 50% of the damages from Hurricane Harvey they won't receive a single cent from $1 billion in federal funds that communities could apply for and use for flood mitigation projects related to Hurricane Harvey. Good luck in all the upcoming hurricane seasons. You keep voting Democrat and we will sit back and watch you suffer.
Good on them. Screw the GOP with their messed up agendas. That whopping 16 cases of Voter fraud is the last thing they should be wasting time to address. How about real problems like homelessness and being #1 in the country in people without healthcare. How about making stricter, not looser gun laws? SMH at those power hungry jerks.
Abbott’s already mentioned this will be part of the special session come summer...but, it likely won’t be until fall when they tackle redistricting. Honestly, the Texas GOP got over-greedy on this and just had to go all out. Lucky for us as they pushed the Dems too far and didn’t have enough time to get it passed. My guess is that they’ll likely cur back some of the things they tried to pass this time around, but it won’t be much better. Really need to get something passed federally to have any chance of stopping it...and even then, Texas will likely pass it anyway. Texas GOP...and really the national GOP...knows it’s in trouble when Texas turns blue. This is a last ditch effort to save themselves from having to actually try to work across the aisle instead of being minor fascists. Again, need something to happen nationally to stop them.
What happened to freemarket principles? https://www.theverge.com/2021/5/30/...law-ship-out-of-state-direct-sale-legislation Texas Senator Ted Cruz, Presidential hopefuly basically bragging about how its normal to be corrupt " This is the point in the drama when Republicans usually shrug their shoulders, call these companies “job creators,” and start to cut their taxes. Not this time. This time, we won’t look the other way on Coca-Cola’s $12 billion in back taxes owed. This time, when Major League Baseball lobbies to preserve its multibillion‐dollar antitrust exception, we’ll say no thank you. This time, when Boeing asks for billions in corporate welfare, we’ll simply let the Export‐Import Bank expire.… Enough is enough. Corporations that flagrantly misrepresent efforts to protect our elections need to be called out, singled out and cut off.… To them I say: When the time comes that you need help with a tax break or a regulatory change, I hope the Democrats take your calls, because we may not. Its almost like they don't believe in checks balances, free market, fiscal spending, corruption...they just are looking out for self helping deals "
For the life of me, I don't understand this at all. Everyone carry a gun! Good luck! I hope this state becomes Democratic soon...cause the Texas GOP is a bunch of stanky poo.
Now it's a different article about Tesla. As in there's no quotes about Cruz and Coca Cola or anything you quoted I thought came from the link you were sharing. Edit: Found the article or a similar article with what you quoted. https://www.businessinsider.com/ethics-expert-calls-out-ted-cruzs-criticism-of-woke-ceos-2021-5
